Nico Müller will end his Audi Sport deal at the end of the season.
The Swiss driver will move from the German car manufacturer to French car maker Peugeot, where he will be part of their FIA World Endurance Championship line-up.
Müller started at Audi Sport in 2014, where he became part of their DTM team. He has been a part of that ever since, from Class 1 regulations to the current GT3 rules.
He has been active in ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, where he was racing for the Dragon/Penske outfit, but never raced for Audi themselves. He was recently announced at ABT for the 2022/23 season, who is returning to Formula E, but with a Mahindra drive train instead of their previous Audi connections.

Müller was slated to be part of the LMDh outfit for Audi. So he was going to collect experience at Vector Sport in the 2022 FIA WEC season in LMP2, to be ready for 2023. Audi Sport has now officially ditched that programme, in favour of their upcoming Formula 1 programme in 2026. That decision made Rene Rast announce his departure from the German brand, to archrivals BMW instead.
Swiss driver Müller will also be doing the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship season for Peugeot TotalEnergies. He will be taking over the race seat from James Rossiter, who returns to his job as a test- and reserve driver, just like the initial plans were for 2022, until Kevin Magnussen left for a Formula 1 return. The Brit did super well at the most recent round at Fuji, where he was the closest competitor to Toyota Gazoo Racing and Alpine Elf Team, plus he was significantly faster than teammate Jean-Eric Vergne, who was his direct competitor at the track.
Müller will finish off the 2022 season in DTM for Audi, and for Vector Sport in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
